Editing is pulling the story out of the footage. Motion is movement the camera did not shoot: a title, a simple shape, a transition.
You can send footage we did not shoot. We say honestly whether the quality is enough for what you want to publish.
The edit follows the goal. A minute for the site is different from three fragments for social. We agree that before we start cutting.
We keep motion in service. No effects because we can. Yes when a name, a figure or a route is otherwise hard to follow.
