We choose an environment that fits the site. A light static site needs something different from Laravel or a WordPress install we take over. PHP version, memory and disk we agree on what the site actually does.

System updates, expired certificates and a full disk are what take sites down unexpectedly. We watch those when hosting is with us.

We set security in layers, matched to your site. A brochure without accounts has a different layer than a site with login, forms or customer data. The base is always the same: an up-to-date system, a certificate and limited access to the server. On top comes what the site needs extra, such as a firewall, shielded admin pages or stricter database rights.

Those layers include scanning. We have the site files checked for malware and for changes that should not be there: a new file in a folder that should stay quiet, a changed core, a plugin nobody installed. In zero-tolerance mode that bar is tight. A change that does not come via the agreed path counts as suspicious immediately. We look at it and remove what should not be there, instead of leaving it until someone happens to see it. Which mode fits the site, we agree upfront. A site that often writes files itself cannot always handle that strict setting. We do not promise a scan stops every attack.

Moving from another provider is possible. We plan a moment, move the site, and leave the old environment standing until everything is right.
